why did loading home also start loading deleted tabs

When I click on the "home" icon, tabs that I deleted several days ago also reload. This just started to happen 2 days ago.

The answer is insulting! I know how to set a home page. I have been using computers for 20+ years and was responsible for those in my engineering department when PCs first came into general use.
