In Yahoo, all my emails look bold, before playing with ctrl +/- the unread emails appeard bold.
This all started when Facebook changed the font size in their webpage. So I adjusted my font by using ctrl +/- to enlarge the font. Since then when I check my email in Yahoo the read and unread emails appear the same. Almost like a bold font for everything. I can't distinguish between them while using Firefox... I uninstalled Firefox, I cleared cookies and cache and the issue still remains.

Just to clarify, this is happening on other web pages too. The font looks different and while I can adjust the size either on the webpage or by using ctrl +/-, I'd like to get things back the way it was before... Any suggestions?
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
Thanks, I tried that too but it doesn't work...
Your More system details list shows that you have made some changes to the default font settings.
Are there any other font prefs (Filter: font.) bold (user set) on the about:config page?
So I went into "about:config" and reset everything which did nothing. I then went into safe-mode and reset everything to Firefox defaults but that also did nothing... I'm attaching a couple pics so you can see the difference. Firefox on the left and IE on the right...
