Sometimes the pages don't start properly (means with bars instead of text, you can't enter any data etc.). Is that a known problem and will it be resolved?
Since I work with Mac Os X 10.6.4 and firefox 3.6.12 I daily have a problem with firefox I never knew before. I'm working with the newest Mac and the newest firebox browser, so could it be that they aren't compatible?
I'd love to send a screenshot of how it looks when it happens. It's not a crash/closing of the site, so I can't mail any crash ID.
It's just a messed up site, with only partial texts or nothing but bars / lines where the text should be. Into a search-window you can't enter any letters, they won't show. So it's just not possible to work with the opened site and I close firefox and open Safari instead (which never creates similar problems). But Safari is slower and thus I'd prefer to work mainly with firefox, as I did for many years without any problem.

- "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
- Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
