I keep trying to add search extensions on a brand new computer on any version of firefox and keep getting the following error: This search engine isn't supported by Firefox and can't be installed.

Firefox was the first program I installed on the computer.I go to get more search engines in the manage search engines screen on the search engine box. When I do , it doesn't matter which one I want to add I always get the same error: This search engine isn't supported by Firefox and can't be installed. This seems weird as how can the firefox program take me to a screen that it doesn't support. I love having tons of search engines at my fingertips and am very disappointed I have no access to them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you installing search engines from the Mycroft site or from other web pages?

You can try to delete search.sqlite and search.json in the Firefox Profile Folder
