Fire Fox 4 constantly is not responding on my pc, can I go back to 3.6

My pc was working great before I updated firefox from 3.6 to 4. Now everything takes forever to load and my internet connection constantly freezes. I keep getting the " Fire Fox is Not responding" bs. Takes an hour just to check my mail. Ready to uninstall Firefox completely but like how it was working before I updated. How can I make it work again?

Here 100% the same problem. Since using 4.0 I work more in the "task manager" than on Internet. I went back to 3.6.4 (Huib, Holland april 17th, 2011)
