How do I populate the Most Visited dropdown menu?

I had to restore Firefox from a Carbonite backup because somehow my Firefox installation became corrupted. All of the bookmarks restored fine. However, my Most Visited list did not restore and now when I click on it it shows Empty. I am repeatedly going to the websites that were originally on that dropdown menu but I'm wondering how many visits to those sites that it takes for those addresses to start showing up on the Most Visited dropdown.

That list is created via a database query, so you need to visit sites often enough to make them appear as the top 10 of visited websites.

If most visited isn't working then try to delete that smart bookmark folder and let Firefox create a new Most Visited bookmark.
