I'm not sure whether there is any official documentation for this, but you could try the procedure for "Firefox 3 to Firefox 3.5" toward the end of this article: Tip: Importing Saved Passwords | Firefox Extension Guru's Blog (read Firefox 3 as Flock and Firefox 3.5 as Firefox 4). Note: this would discard any passwords you have saved in Firefox 4.

Does that work?

You can copy the file signons3.txt to the Firefox Firefox Profile Folder
You need to remove the existing file signons.sqlite to make Firefox import the passwords that are saved in signons3.txt.
