How can I re-install Firefox when I have no working browser on my computer?
On my home computer, Firefox kept popping up with an window asking my to download an update. I kept putting it off, but finally I clicked OK. A few minutes later I received an error message, but I didn't really read it before closing out of it. After that, Firefox wouldn't work.
I've restarted my computer a few times, but Firefox still won't work-- I get the same screen I get when my internet is out, but I know my internet is working (I know this because installed software that connects to the internet still work).
I need to re-install Firefox, but I have no working browser to access the Firefox website. What can I do?

Use Internet Explorer to download the latest version of Firefox (FF9.0.1) from Mozilla http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html then install FF. In addition, update Flash Player to the latest version, yours is outdated.
That's where it gets tricky. For some odd reason, I don't have IE on my computer. Firefox appears to have been the only browser on the computer. Is it possible to get a browser (any browser!) on disk for me to install manually?
And about downloading the Firefox setup with the current browser you're using, isn't it possible? Save the setup on USB device or external HDD and plug it in your home computer. You can use Firefox Portable on USB device too.
