Hi tehre. I have a seriouse problem involving Firefox. Seems fine at start but my computer restarts then after few minutes.
well I don't really have any details besides the fact that I need Firefox to open the www.werk.nl. this site can only be opened trough Firefox and when I do that my computer just shuts down and reboots. This happens all the time. I also try d opening the page with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Opera but the site wont work on there. so does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem or am I just screwed ?

Sorry you are having problems, but I suspect in this case maybe not a problem with Firefox itself.
I have not yet tried that site with IE but I am able to open it with both Firefox and Google.
The problem therefore may not be Firefox but maybe say security software blocking the site, or even an intermittent site problem,
- Do other sites cause problems ?
- Can you describe what happens (or does not happen) ?
- Do you get any error message ?

well I haven't try d other sites with firefox cuz I use Opera as my main browser. but couldn't open this site with Opera nor IE and Chrome. this site directed me to use firefox instead. I know a long time ago I used firefox with no problems at all. also I don't think that it's an security issue. I've bin Using AVG since as long I can remember with no problems at all.
but what happens is I open firefox go to the site and try to look for online job applications or edit my curriculum Vitae. it goes well for few minutes, then my screen just turns black and my computer reboots. I only have this problem while using firefox.
Does this link work in Google Chrome?
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I could not enter the site on Chrome. Also I try d to do as you toled me by disabling the hardware acceleration but that did not work either. So today I reinstalled my computer and problem is solved for as far I can tell at the moment. So I guess it was some major software issue on my computer.
