I want to sign up for a new email with att.net, I try to download and install and I have to close Firefox, if I close Firefox, I lose my download

I want to stop using yahoo, trying to set up a new email account with att.net. I've created one, then I get a download from att.net. When I click on the download, I get a message that I have to close Firefox. If I close Firefox, I lose the download window....what do I do?

What kind of download do you get?

Normally it shouldn't be necessary to download program or file to be able to set up an email account.

I cleared the downloads....can't get it back unless I try to set up another new email user account. It was some kind of setup file with att.net...I give up!
