Firefox is blocking Flash. It is keeping me from loading attachments to my emails and from listening to music on Soundcloud. We have updated the flash and it works on every other application on our computer except Mozilla Firefox.

Please tell me how to fix this.

Your system details list shows that you have installed Shockwave Flash plugin.

  • Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700

You can verify on the Adobe Flash Players Test Page that the Flash plugin is working and which version you have.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
