Hello,

I have downloaded Firefox 20.0.1.

I am only able to install Add-On's that are specific to Android via the Firefox for Android's Add-On page. That page is a bit more specific, showing only Android Only add-ons from your repository.

However, there a good number of add-ons that are compatible with both the desktop and android versions, and since 20.0.1, I can no longer get them to work.

They are: Session Manager and as an alternative: ProfileSwitcher and as a Third alternative: Tabs Mix Plus

I can't get any of them to work, and I really want to. Sometimes I might queue up 15-20 tabs on a particular project, and want to save my research progress for later. I swap sessions depending on what I am doing, and these session saving add-ons are the only way I can do that.

My experience with Firefox for Android would be 100x better if I could get any of these working. It must be an issue with Mozilla's code, as the problem is present with all three add-ons I tried. What can I do?

I'll add, the specific error I recieve is:

"The addon could not be installed because it is not compatible with 20.0.1"

yet the add on pages say otherwise... compatible with 10.0.0 - 20.0.*

hello, none of the three extensions you've mentioned states that it is compatible with firefox for android - you'd have to contact the developers of those extensions and ask them to port their addon for android.

here is the list of extensions that will work on android: https://addons.mozilla.org/android/

On the Extension page scroll down to where it says Version Information. If it says Works with Firefox... Then that is desktop Firefox. It should say Mobile and version if it works with the Android version. A example that works on both is NoScript.
