No Android 4 e superiores, você ainda pode fechar o Firefox ou qualquer outro aplicativo a partir do aplicativo switch screen

  • Ice Cream Sandwich: pressione o botão home por um tempo;
  • Jelly Bean: toque no botão interruptor do aplicativo app switch button 25px - Android Jelly Bean.

Se você precisar do botão sair de volta, você pode instalar um complemento como o QuitNow para fazer isso. Aqui está como instalar um add-on para adicionar a opção sair novamente.
