I will accept the intolerance of Mozilla towards the Mozilla chief because he does not support gay marriage. I will remove all your products from all my computers until you are tolerant of all positions not just "gay rights"

hello, i assume you're asking the question in relation to the recent resignation of brendan as ceo and from mozilla. unfortunately there are quite few misconceptions and wrong media reports flying around about what happened there. please refer to https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/04/05/faq-on-ceo-resignation/ and https://medium.com/p/7645a4bf8a2 for more information on the subject.

mozilla has employees with a wide diversity of views. our culture of openness extends to encouraging staff and community to share their beliefs and opinions in public - also critical to mozilla itself. this is meant to distinguish mozilla from most organizations and hold us to a higher standard. we absolutely believe both in equality and freedom of speech. sometimes standing for both at the same time can be hard.
