Its annoying make two clicks to see the Bookmark menu when before only one was needed, how can I get my old star back that enable the Bookmark list to drop down with one action?

You can click the star to bookmark the current page. You can ignore it when you want to drop-down the list, and click on the other icon (clipboard?) immediately.
