I downloaded Thunderbird last night, configured it, and downloaded about 3000+ emails from hotmail. This morning when I clicked on Thunderbird nothing was there -- just the screen to create a new account. What happened and how can I fix it? Thanks!

AppMenu button - Help - Troubleshooting Information - Profile Folder - Show Folder

This will open your profile folder in your file manager. What is the full path and profile folder name?

Go up one level in the directory hierarchy. This should be something like
C:\Users\<user id>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles.

What other profiles do you see?

Go up another level in the directory hierarchy. This should be something like
C:\Users\<user id>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird.

There is a file 'profiles.ini' in that directory. Please post the contents of profile ini.
