My gmail account sends mail to my Thunderbird account which has many folders and I'd like to migrate all my emails (and folders) to a new computer.

When I set up an IMAP account for Thunderbird on new computer, all the Gmail emails from that Inbox (over 11K), begin to download into the new Inbox. I only want my saved Thunderbird Inbox emails and all my saved email folders to be migrated into the new Tbird account.
