I pushed a key combination that brought up responsive design view by accident. What is responsive design view? I have no understanding of web development software or anything more involved than browsing programs. Just curious.

Note that "Tools > Web Developer" shows all web developer tools with their keyboard shortcuts.

  • Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu bar.

Responsive Design View is used for developers to test out their apps using differerent resolutions.

You can disable this through the Developer Tools

  • New Fx Menu -> Developer ->Response Design View

I would have given you the keyboard shortcut, however I'm on Linux and not sure if it is different for Windows (you can try it though. To toggle RDV on/off, I press Ctrl + Shift + M)

Thanks for your quick response, Moses! (Less than 1 hr., I think.

And for people who are freaked by the same problem on Windows, the keyboard combination is the same as the one Moses posted for Linux.
