Firefox crashes
My firefox (ver 29) have been crushing since I updated my Ubuntu version to the last one. I cannot send a crash report because there is a problem also with that. Here is what I could copy:

That is an Ubuntu Canonical build of Firefox.
IIRC they do not send crash reports for Release versions. The Ubuntu Fx29 worked ok for me I am currently using & posting from Fx31.0a2 (2014-06-08) on Ubuntu LTS 12.04
Have you tried in Firefox's safemode
OK this could also involve plugins so as a test please also disable any plugins and see if that prevents crashes.
- Disable or remove Add-ons_how-to-disable-plugins
What is your desktop if it is Unity you will have System Monitor open that and see a simple graphic of what your memory state is. There is also a lot more detailed information available if you
- Key into the location bar of Firefox about:memory then hit the Return key
- Wait a few seconds, while it loads & use the button measure.
- Wait again possibly a few minutes, and an interactive report page appears.
The page has more detail than you need and may not even work if you are about to crash, but just from its main headings you should be able to see if Firefox is seriously running out of available memory.
My Notes
Potentially related
- Bug 897870 - crash in mozilla::Logger::~Logger with abort message: "file e:/builds/.../ipc/chromium/src/base/pickle.cc, line 136" (Pickle::Pickle)
(Old but marked as [leave open] Keywords: crash, regression, topcrash ) - Why isn't the plugin-container.exe crash not fixed? /questions/990515
- update also potentially threads /questions/1003590 & /questions/986892
