How prevent TBird from adding email-sender's address to my address book?
Thunderbird adds names and addresses in my address book that I did not put there myself. There are are addresses from sites that I may have access but i do not wish to save them in my address book. I want only my personal adresses not a whole list of other email addresses.

These are probably addresses you put into your address book by allowing remote content for the sender. You can create a separate address book for those, so they won't clutter your personal address book.
