How can I get Mozilla to stop categorizing ANYTHING as spam?
NOTHING I have ever found in my spam folder was something I would regard as SPAM. So, in order not to miss important messages just because I forgot to check my spam folder, I want Mozilla to completely stop putting ANY messages in there. Can anyone give me a clear, simple , unembroidered way to do this? Mozilla's help topics were no help at all. So I would very much appreciate the advice of other users. Thanks.

I think you are talking about Thunderbird (if its not then reply me what it is). According to my knowledge your profile got corrupted and you need to create new profile. Reinstalling your software won't help.
Firefox is a web browser not a webmail provider.
Your query should be referred to an email client like Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail etc. or a webmail provider like Hot Mail, Google Mail etc. They are the ones labelling the spam.
I have no idea if this has anything to do with "Thunderbird," whatever that is. (I've seen the term before but can't remember what it refers to.) I am using Mozilla on a PC to connect to gmail.com for my email, if that's any help. I did not mean that gmail was categorizing EVERYTHIING as spam just that whenever anything was put in my spam box, it didn't belong there. So maybe this is a problem for gmail or google, not mozilla at all. If so, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get help from/about THEM. Thanks again.
Try using the Gmail Help Center. https://support.google.com/mail/?hl=en#topic=3394144
