ZIP files are extracted in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp folder

I have configured Firefox (v30) to -ask- where to store the downloaded files. Also I have set the download folder to : F:\Downloads

How to avoid zip-files (or possibly other compressed files, like .rar-files) from being extracted?

Secondly When downloading (trial)software, a small download exe should be used. This serves to obtain the latest version of the software. The 'full' (read: big) file is downloaded anyhow and stored in the above temp folder. How to get such downloads be stored in F:\Downloads instead of C:\

Firefox v30/Windows 7 x64

Thanks! =

If you save the files and do not open them with an application then this wouldn't happen.

  1. I do not know how to stop extracting zip files
  2. You can change your downloads folder in the Options/Preferences > General menu.
