Hi, Brandon,
This does not require any screen shot. If you go to options in the Tools Menu and click the security tab, you get the option of Saved Password. If you click this button, then it will show you the sites for which you have assigned the passwords and if you click show the password button, then after accepting alert of showing the passwords, it will show the passwords for those sites. Now, my question is can i save those in an word editor like msword for taking a printout reference. Is this clear now
jraju,
No you cannot save it in word editor or msword.
When i select and right click copy username and copy password are shown, but inactively. Is there any way to print those? I am about browsing about 50 sites . So i ask
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/password-exporter/
Allows you to export password data in CSV and XML format - both are text based formats which can be read in Word and Notepad.
The handy WebBrowserPassView utility from NirSoft will do the job for you. You can get it here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/web_browser_password.html.
Thank you eidmister,
The add on you referred has solved the problem. How to catch these kind of utitilities in Add on instead of searching all through the add ons. The Csv format allowed me to take as table as in the firefox saved passwords table shown in ms excel. What is obfuscating of password and user name? I will close the thread on hearing from eidmister
