gnash not available in firefox 32
Hi, I'm running firefox 32 on arch linux wher gnash was removed from official repositories. I uninstalled gnash to try lightspark, but i changed my mind and reinstalled gnash from pacman cache. I have gnash version 0.11-dev2 installed on my system but it doesn't appear at all in firefox plugins. Should gnash be configured with plugin support or this is a firefox problem?

Sounds that you do not have Gnash installed in a location that Firefox scans for plugins. Also note that Firefox is a 32 bit application and you thus need a 32 bit version of plugins.
Also if Firefox was running when a Plugin was installed you may need to restart it. A quicker way to try first is to type in about:plugins in Location (address) bar.
For playing SWF files, I found I could use a helper application rather than a plugin. Flash videos still use the Flash plugin.
The gnash plugin is installed in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins where all the other detected plugins are found. Also downgrading Firefox to 30 or 31 doesn't help. Maybe the next gnash update will work ok.
gnash may be gone. Unable to connect to getgnash.org...
