Why is it that you can not coordinate with companies like AIRoboform to keep from angering your customers?

Every time you update the browser, I lose my Roboform functionality. I do NOT trust a browser to keep my passwords, yours included. That's why I chose a more secure way. Yet, you seem hell-bent on inconveniencing any one who chooses to be more secure. Why can't your lazy programmers take this into consideration when creating updates? Is it really too much to expect?

hello HoseB, it's always the task of the extension developer to keep an addon compatible with new versions - mozilla cannot update third-party code. firefox is released on a fixed 6-week schedule and test versions are made available months in advance so this should be no surprise to any developer - so please to contact roboform's support channels about this issue if you have complaints in this regards.

as a general note: in firefox you can protect and encrypt your stored passwords with a master password - this will be no less secure than third-party password managers, especially since firefox is open source and its code can be audited/examined by the security research community! Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords

Why don't you ask Roboform why they can't keep track of the Firefox release dates? Or why they can't coordinate with Mozilla? https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar Listed there thru the end of 2015, so it's no "secret" or a "we release whenever we feel like it" situation.

Plus there are 3 channels of pre-release development versions available, so 3rd parties can "test" their stuff on each channel and see the changes as they occur. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/ Beta Aurora / Web Developer Nightly
