If I clear history, will it delete my bookmarks and speed dial sites?

A "problem loading site" tab keeps popping up whenever I open Firefox. It was presumably a failed search, but now I just want to permanently get rid of the tab. Is clearing all History the answer? If so, will that wipe out my speed dial and bookmarked sites?

No, clearing history won't fix that problem.

Have you tried checking what your home page settings are? How to set the home page

My home page in settings is Speed Dial, which is the way I've always had it set. However, now the "problem loading page" tab keeps popping up first when I open Firefox.
