Hi ProMusicCreator, I see, you may want to take a look at some of the enterprise environment solutions if you are running a network of computers.

Force preference for multiple profiles: Step:1) Created a file name like "local-settings.js" in -- /usr/lib/firefox/defaults/pref --- Pasted this line -- pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg"); --- in "local-settings.js" Step :2) Created a file name like "mozilla.cfg" in -- /usr/lib/firefox --- Note that the mozilla.cfg file needs to start with a comment line (//) because this first line is skipped (ignored). And copy and paste the below line in this "mozilla.cfg" file.

defaultPref(); // set new default value pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

In conclusion, all the sources for muting the browser is solved by an add on. I have heard of a way to preinstall an add on in Firefox profiles, but I do not know what preference this is exactly, first take a look at Mike's Musings.

Hi,

I am a webdeveloper who want to change this for ALL MY USERS from all over the world. We expect to have 1M users end of this year... you got the point :)

We are now forced to use this now (see image) but we love the FireFox project and would be very happy when we can add the browser to our supported list!
