Window size has changed for SEARCH window, how do I change it back?
My Search window size is too small, how do I enlarge it so I can see more letters as I type.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
Note that if you place the mouse pointer between the location bar and the search bar then the mouse pointer will change to a resize pointer that allows to change the width of the location and search bar by moving the mouse left or right.
The total size stays the same and only the relative sizes change. You need to do that in normal mode (i.e. not in Customize mode).
Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
