Mozilla demo keeps crashing my browser

more options

I'm trying th demo's at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/demos/. So far, the first three I tried didn't work. The real issue is the third one actually makes the browser crash. When I restart the browser, it reloads the app and crashes again - it's stuck in an infinite loop, and now I am unable to use Firefox on my phone.

The demo that crashes is https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/demos/detail/playroom. My android version is 5.1.1

Sorry to hear about this problem. I don't know how to bypass the automatic session restore where you are in the process. If no other suggestions resolve the issue, you can reset your Firefox to its original download condition using Clear Data here:

(Android) Settings > Apps > Firefox > Clear Data

That will remove all history, bookmarks, add-ons, etc. I think it might not remove downloaded files from your Android Download folder.

Probably a good idea to Clear Cache while you're there.

That resets the browser, and it lost all my passwords. But it doesn't really fix the problem. If I try the demo's again, I still get the same problem.

BTW - I never got an email that my question had a reply.

I'm uninstalling Firefox, this is all too ameteur.

Clear Data was just a last ditch way to stop the unwanted session restoration.

If you want to report the demo problem as a bug, you could file it here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Or maybe someone else will do it.
