Is it possible to forward an email that has a web site so that the receiver can simply click on the web site? In Outlook, all I had to do was to click the web site address and it would be underlined and the color would change to blue. When the receiver got the email all they would have to do is click on the site and the web page would pop up. Can I do this in Thunderbird?

Yes It is called a link.

When using write in HTML mode, you will see a menu where you can adjust the font, font-size, etc. The colorful blue square is what you are looking for. When you click it, the pop-out lists several choices, one is 'Link'.

In the next screen you are asked to enter the text that the user sees and will probably be underlined. The lower box is where you paste the actual link that you copied from the webpage.
