Well, it's all in the title.

Also, since I went to firefox's download page and clicked on the thing "revirginize" your Firefox because I was having problems with youtube and other random crashes, where it took out all of my add-ons (didn't know it would do that). It does seem to work better since then, but I still get random crashes for no reason at all, and I can't even ask for help regarding the crash, there is only Firefox Health Report in the Data Choice tab of the Advanced menu. This is really bizarre, have you guys removed the crash reporter since there was so many crashes for people using Linux (especially Linux Mint it seems) since around version 38 (for me the problems started at version 39.0.2 or something like that).

Also, now that I reinstalled the add-ons that I use, Ghostery is not showing, which makes it difficult to make some features on some sites actually work and turn on widgets and such temporarily or permanently. It used to very easy, in Ghostery's menu there was a box to check "Show Ghosty icon in add-on bar" that thing is gone now and it doesn't seem to want to play nice. Like how AdBlock Edge died...(I had all my add-ons as .idx files from using FEBE then I found out ABE was discontinued and went with uBlock which seems to be as efficient, but the problem is Ghostery's icon not showing up and not even being available in the "Customize toolbar", no icons for it there either.

This can happen if you use a Firefox version that is modified by your Linux distribution (Ubuntu). In such a build the crash reporter could be disabled because of license reasons being a third-party build.

Are you using the Firefox version from the official Mozilla servers or the version from the repositories of your Linux distribution? You can use the version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (41.0.1) in all languages and all operating systems here:

Yes the about:crashes is not in the Ubuntu version you posted with but in the official Linux builds from Mozilla.org

It was there in the previous versions, all of 'em in fact. It's the Linux Mint edition, not Ubuntu, but sure, I will maybe try firefox from the official repo. Is there a PPA for it?

Alright, I tried it, works, but I didn't stay with it for long, as the other offending problem of ghostery's Ghosty icon not being in the add-on bar nor can it be added in the Customize menu. It used to be quite simple, in ghostery's option, you had a box to check to make it disappear/reappear.

Guess I'll only use Disconnect now, because having to go deep in the options of Ghostery everytime I want to allow something temporarily is not what I call optimal. It was fine until I went to the official site and clicked that green button to reset Firefox, then when re-adding the extensions, that happened, re-adding the status-bar didn't help, although thankfully that exists since some extensions wisely leave place in the official top add-on bar by having their icon there....so problem partially solved. The random crashes are much less common on 41.0.1 LM version or not.
