I use a https proxy for my dongle and worked perfect for a few weeks, and suddenly Firefox wont let me open any sites, and only YouTube works but not the videos. I did a clean boot of windows twice and still do not work. I use the proxy with my 3g dongle and It did work fine for a few weeks, and i tested it on my friends computer to make sure hardware is fine, and it did work. I also noticed I get "mixed content" warnings since the problem started and "the websites does not provide proof of ownership, even on google. I am not very computer savvy so please be patient. Very weird that only youtube works on the proxy but videos wont load. But i used to be able to view All sites on the internet.

There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.
