How to disable gradient on Window border?
I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit though my specs should be irrelevant as every Aero-enabled PC I've ever used has this annoying gradient on the Window border ONLY on Firefox. How do I get rid of this?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Try a different Windows theme to see if that helps.
I'm already running the default theme and have hardware acceleration disabled. I ran FF in safe mode and the gradient is not caused by any extensions.
I remember that gradient. There was some talk in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=623092 regarding the implementation of Glass, but that's from 2011. I don't think there is much you can do about it as a user at this point, except hide the Menu Bar (View > Toolbars) and/or change themes, depending on how you like things to look.
As for alternative themes, there's stuff like GlassMyFox, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/glassmyfox/. I like the Qute themes personally.
