I'm on Arch Linux with LXQT Firefox is 45.0.1

I've already tried Safe Mode.

Maybe it's more a problem with LXQT but I thought it useful to register it (Other programs still working normally)...

EDIT : Okay, I've installed gnome-themes-standard and choose as widget any other widgets than Raleigh and it solves everything. The raleigh widget theme was the culprit.

Additional information: -When I double-click i the URL bar: I see no highlight (but if I hit delete for example, the text disappears, so it's a problem of coloring the text) -I can go up and down with the mouse scroll, but I don't see any hint of position in the right scrollbar

Do you mean double-clicking the location bar to select all text?

Does this also happen if you use the right-click context menu or the Ctrl+A shortcut?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can try a different Linux theme in case Firefox has a problem with the theme you currently use.
