How do I report a suspicious email...
I would like to report this email but I don't know how to do that. It says (sender's capitalization, not mine) "Dear Sir...We Have automatically deducted your tax payment from your Bank Account. Kindly download and view your receipt below attached to this email." It is signed "Sincerely, Income Tax Department."
I have neither downloaded nor opened the attachment but I don't want to remove it until I have reported it. It comes from trimurdymusicals@gmail.com. Thank you!!!

In your position, I'd probably just delete it. If it seems to be spoofing a legitimate organization then you might see if that organization has an address or website where you can report such things. It's very clumsy. It appears to be from the IRS or whatever and then says it comes from an entirely unrelated business's private email address. A terribly unconvincing and amateurish spammer.
I send a lot of spam to Knujon (but I think you'd need to set up an account) and also to a dns blacklisting service; you could look for the Abusix spam reporting add-on.
I get several of these (or similar) most days. I guess you don't, as you wouldn't be asking what to do with it. It really isn't anything to be too concerned about; you have seen through it.
