Attaching message shows forever

Sometimes, when attachments are present in the message, thunderbird will say "Attaching..." and will not stop at anytime. The only solution is to cancel and quit the program, then restart and try composing the message again. Then it will send. Note that, trying to save the message as a draft works exactly like sending -- meaning that i can't actually save it because it would be saying "Attaching..." forever.

Turn off auto save of drafts in options.
