I had to reset Firefox the other day and just discovered that "save to" in Yahoo Mail for attachments, is no longer working. It will simply save to the generic location, but the location option of "save to" is missing, in short, the full save to dialogue box has reduced to short form. I believe my settings are OK. I tried in SAFE mode, but the problem is the same. I also tried with EXPLORER and that's working normally. I have checked APPLICATIONS MIME TYPES and GENERAL - ALWAYS ASK. I am hoping that this is a temporary glitch, and things will soon automatically return to normal, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

With regard to my own question I should like to add that this problem of "save as" concerns not just YahooMail but all of Firefox, and "always ask" is not working. My version of Firefox is 49.0.2.

Hi   !
Would you try this:
Type in the address bar: about:config (promise to be careful) Type and search for the preference named: browser.download.folderList Should it's value be set to   '1'   click it and set it's value to   2
