Just upgraded to 45.5.0 and while T'Bird says it's connecting to server, nothing happens. Restarted in safe mode but still does not get messages.

Hi Zenos. No it did not involve outlook.com or hotmail. However it does appear to be linked to a setting in Norton Internet Security. Anyhow fiddling with that appears to have solved the problem. Thanks.

Hi Zenos. No it did not involve outlook.com or hotmail. However it does appear to be linked to a setting in Norton Internet Security. Anyhow fiddling with that appears to have solved the problem. Thanks.
