Why do I have to keep reducing the size of every website each time I visit it so it fits on my screen? It's a waste of time.

Is the screen too large or do you want to fill the full estate of a larger screen?
You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint Plus extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
