Why do I get a "my way QuickWeatherTracker" when I open a new tab when I'm logged into Firefox and how do I get back to a list of my frequently opened websites?
I'm logged into Firefox and open a new tab page by clicking on the + on the open pages toolbar line and I get a page that s listed as QuickWeatherTracker and that has a Google search box and "myway" printed beneath the box and a row of app symbols below that. I tried removing and reinstalling Firefox and that didn't fix the issue. I have a Windows 10 HP Pavilion computer.

Sounds like you may have installed an add-on/extension that has hijacked your new tab page in order to get you to use their search tool.
Here is some information on troubleshooting add-ons: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
If you're unable to find out which add-on is causing the problem, or if none of them are the culprit, then I recommend downloading Malwarebytes free software and running a malware scan.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

EASY FIX (for me):
Click the Firefox menu button (3 horizontal lines at right end of toolbar). Click Add-ons (icon that looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece). When the Add-ons Manager tab opens, click Extensions (on left). Click on the MyWay extension. Click the disable button. Fixed!
I had this problem on a brand new laptop. Like you, I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox but the problem remained. Then I used the Mozilla Support link in Pkshadow's reply to another posting on this topic and started the troubleshooting process -- this was the step that fixed it.
