facebook will not load but will on another computer on the same network
Facebook was working fine until a couple of days ago,the address comes up in the address bar but the page stays blank with no error message,I have another computer on the same network and FB works on it, I have tried every solution I could find but nothing works and every other web page opens without a problem, running windows 7, can anyone suggest a solution?

As a test, disable your protection programs.
As I said I have tried all the solutions posted as with closing protection programs,the only way I can open FB is find an email post with a picture or something and try each one until it opens, most of the time it just goes to the white screen.
So you can load pages from some notifications and not others? Hmm...
The Facebook website requires a lot of memory. If Firefox has been running for a long time, it may be on the edge of not being able to use any more memory. If you get a white screen, black screen, fan comes on (indicating high CPU usage), or title bar shows NOT RESPONDING, you may want to exit Firefox and start it up again to see whether that helps.
And while I'm giving out generic advice, you probably already have tried this, but just in case:
If a site is generally known to work in Firefox, these are general suggestions to try when it stops working:
Cache and Cookies: When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes. If you do not see the number going down on the page, you can reload it using Ctrl+r to check progress.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- click the padlock or "i" icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button
In the dialog that opens, the current site should be pre-filled in the search box at the top of the dialog so you can remove that site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Testing in Firefox's Safe Mode: In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.
If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
- Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
and OK the restart.
Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Clear the cache":
- Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.
- Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Thanks but it can't be the computer memory as my partner can log on without a problem, I have already cleared cache & cookies ,Refreshed Firefox and Restarted in Safe Mode and it can't be the computer as I can't log on with any other computer now 4 others in total 2 desktops, a laptop and tablet. Anyway I just tried all them again without success.

Seems like a different problem than originally, when it was just Firefox on one device that had a problem.
Can you get in using the mobile site?
Obviously it's not the same experience, but it's better than nothing?
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for error messages about blocked and unsafe and mixed content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
Use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
