Bookmark folders disappearing from sidebar list
My bookmark folders (full of bookmarks) keep disappearing, usually from the top or bottom of the sidebar list. I have copied the last ten crash reports or so.

Please click on each of those Crash Reports to submit them to the Crash Reports system.
When the ID# changes and gains the BP- prefix copy'n'paste those ID#'s into this forum thread.
Sorry, I found that page before but cannot find it again. Every time I type report:crashes into the url line, it tells me I need something else (not stated) or that the page is no longer available. I know I saw directions before to find the crash reports but cannot find them again. Please give me the directions.
So when I find them (ha), I just click on each and it gets a BP-prefix? I did click on two earlier, but they never went anywhere, just the circle that says something is being looked for came up.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- keep a backup copy of places.sqlite in case a new places.sqlite database has to be created

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
I am still trying to do this that I was told up at the top: >Please click on each of those Crash Reports to submit them to the Crash Reports system.
When the ID# changes and gains the BP- prefix copy'n'paste those ID#'s into this forum thread.<
I cannot find the crash reports.
Not report:crashes.
It is about:crashes.
There are many "about: " pages, which you can see in about:about - where they are all listed.
