When I open firefox it says:

"Well, this is embarrassing.

Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.

You can try:

Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem
Starting an entirely new browsing session"

I clear the cache and memory and again when I open firefox, the above happens. It has NEVER happened until right after a firrefox auto update.

Do you use CCleaner? Other users have identified a problem with Firefox 56 when CCleaner is set to clear Firefox data, especially session data.

My guess? Starting in Firefox 56, the session history files are compressed, and CCleaner might need to be updated to adjust for the change.
