how to import bookmarks html from firefox to bookmarks toolbars

with firefox, i exported bookmarks html on first computer. I imported bookmarks html file into firefox on second computer. Resulted with bookmarks were saved in bookmarks menu. How to do get the bookmarks into bookmarks toolbars?

Move the bookmarks that you want on the Bookmarks Toolbar into the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.

Drag and drop from a site that's open in the address bar/desktop/other place... or from bookmarks to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.

you mean I have to remove all the bookmarks I have at present and then move the bookmarks I have imported one by one to the Bookmarks Toolbar ? That would not be very practical. Years ago when I went through this process they simply replaced those that I had before.
