When I try to open an ad, I get the message

"Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at www.googleadservices.com.
   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

My firewall etc. allow me to access Firefox for everything else, so I don't think they are causing this error message. Is there a place in Firefox setup to prevent ads from showing? If so, I can't find it.

It would be really handy to know what add-ons you have installed (if any) and if you have switched on the tracking protection in Firefox.
