re :I recently had a repair done on my account

What exactly do you mean by this ?

EG: Do you mean: In Thunderbird, You right clicked on the mail account in Folder Pane and selected 'Properties' and then clicked on 'Repair Folder' ?

On computer, Did you perform a System Restore on your computer? If system restore...can you see a 'windows.old' folder on desktop ?

In essence No to both---In Thunderbird when I right click the mail account--No 'Properties' presents itself hence there is no 'Repair Folder' to click No system repair done as my knowledge of how to do this is limited-however there is an 'Old Firefox Data' that has appeared on my desktop

                                                                 Hope this helps

re :I recently had a repair done on my account' What exactly do you mean by this ? I now know you did not do a system repair on your computer OS, but you have not mentioned what you mean by 'recently had a repair done on my account'.

Are you talking about a POP or IMAP mail account? If imap, check to see if those folders are currently subscribed to be seen. Right click on mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe' to see the list.

Hi---yes it is an imap mail account---have done this--none of the missing folders are appearing on the list--It would appear I have lost them Repair done was a good clean and optimizing of my account--guess I should have left well enough alone

                                                    Regards John
