why is the new firefox messing around with youtube
Please stop asking me to go to your "New and Improved" firefox when you guys cant get things right! The older version works great! Your newer version doesnt. It make my video experience on anything around the web just terrible with rainbow colours and whatnot. Fix it or toss it!

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.
[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.
Select Never Check For Updates.
Also turn off Use a background service to install updates
