Like a great many users i am having a great deal of trouble with FIREFOX Quantum constantly crashing on my windows 10 pc! At the moment the browser is totally useless and i am having to use firefox 56 which is also crashing, though less frequently. i only had adblock plus installed as an extension, and disabling this made no difference whatsoever!

how can i fix this crashing problem, and CRUCIALLY what are firefox staff doing to update firefox and eliminating the quantum crashing problem? surely the people at firefox must have woken up to the fact that there is something deeply flawed with their latest browser!

go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check (put a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Monitor in Task Manager. Should stay below 2 gigs. If excessive then do below and monitor and change if need to...Test and go up again , go back down, it will eventually get a zone you and it can live with.

Go the 3 Bar Menu then Options --> General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2 Restart Firefox after making these changes please.

Support Volunteers are not told anything regarding anything. We can get more info but spend time helping and having a life rather than delving into what is not here yet. Would image that there will be something done. With so many different systems, ages, up keep, no up keep it really comes down to the user to keep their drivers up to date. Turn send info to Mozilla on before posting so can see any driver issues and possible extension issues. To Post when 1st have problems and not wait and get frustrated.

A lot...can be done. You a lot of video card issues. Seems you have turned off or the system configuration has it turned off.

See if you can find updates for your Intel(R) HD Graphics as they are several yrs old : driverDate: 6-29-2015 You can Google Intel(R) HD Graphics and find the download page https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics-Drivers, but you may have to know what generation chipset you are using. CPU-Z would tell you this https://www.cpuid.com/ Can also try : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html I see several errors in the drivers. Old & corrupted Drivers cause a wide range of issues. Please keep them updated to prevent issues and you never know when Intel will stop supporting them.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
