As part of one requirement we are trying to connect to a system using Firefox. For this we will launch the Firefox by using command-line by passing the end system URL.

Once the browser loads the URL we are getting the pop-up blocker notification so user has to allow it manually.

So to give more usability we want to give default pop-up allow for them.

So could you help me to give some triggering point on how to handle this?

I don't believe that is possible before Firefox is launched and running, but I am not familiar with Linux to state that it is not possible.

Please see these 3 MDN documents:

Thanks a lot for the response.

But this really didn't help us in our case.

From your comment I assume that, we will not update the preferences if the browser is not opened or running.

lets say if the browser is opened, then is there any way that we can enable pop-up with command line?
