When replying to a message with long discussion, only last message is displayed.
I want to reply an e-mail containing discussion, but the last reply contains delimiter -- and when I use Reply, TB cuts off everything bellow the -- delimiter. When I use Forward as workaround , the text is complete, but not quoted by > sign. I have tried "Include signatures for replies" and "mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator - True", but no success. (Thunderbird 52.6.0) What to do? How to force TB to ignore those -- ? Alpine has no problem to reply the complete e-mail.
Here is anonymized example: (I am unable to attach the .eml file)

Sounds like a bug to me. The entire text should be included. Despite the signature separator being present.
I suggest you file it. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
I would assume it is related to then old chestnuts. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297088 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54570
I would see this behavior as more undesirable than that in those two bug reports though.
I have found an easy workaround. When I select the whole text (or even only some desired part of it) by mouse, and then I use Reply, the selected text is included in reply. I do not need anything more :-).
